Hey guys, my name's Anna Giannoni. I'm a former college field hockey player and a CoachUp
Coach. And this is the air dribble.
The air dribble is a great technique to use when you have a substantial amount of space
between you and a defender. It adds a little flare as you run down the field.
So what you're gonna do here is you're gonna position your hands in the same positions
like before, left hand at the end of the stick, right hand at the end of the grip. Where you're
gonna start, the ball is at the end of your stick right here on your right side. You're
gonna transfer your weight from the right to the left and as you do that, you're gonna
use the momentum to pop the ball up in the air and then position the stick under the
ball so you have balance and then you can start dribbling it.
