Hello my name is Hui on behalf of Expert Village I'm going to show you quick and easy everyday
Chinese dishes. Then we would put the slice of ginger on the cutting board to cut them
in strips thinly. Again use your fingers to support the blade so you will not cut your
fingers. You want the ginger strips to be kind of fine. Not only it will give a even
aroma to the fish but it will also look pretty. That is the size of the ginger that we are
looking for. We would cut the onions holding them horizontally, we would hold each chunk
of onion and we would cut them just like the ginger strip. As you see if your green onion
is not too fresh you have to leave in the fridge for a couple of days, they would curl
up once you cut them into finished strips. If that is not the case you can always can
submerge them into ice water for 10 minutes and they would curl up too.
