In the three modules for eNovation C, you are going to learn the basic principles of reading notation on a staff.
In the learn module, you will be introduced to a reduced staff of one or two lines.
This will help prepare you for reading on a full staff; also called a "grand staff."
In reading music notation, you are going to want to really pay attention to the direction that the notes are moving
and also the distance between the notes as they appear on the staff.
You will learn a new rhythmic element where the basic note values that you know already, the quarter, the half, and the whole,
are extended to longer values through the use of ties and dots.
You'll also learn a new notational element called a repeat sign.
There will also be increased coordination requirements as you play more and more using two hands.
But you're going to learn more about that in the practice module.
Have fun!
