This was the first time that I've actually stayed over in Ipoh.
Since lunch was so rich, we decided to have something simpler for dinner.
Here we are at Lou Wong, it's really crowded.
They open till three a.m apparently and every night
is as happening as now. Ordering was easy, rice or noodles.
Chicken? Of course! They only have one type of chicken,
steam chicken. Tau gay (bean sprouts)? Definitely!
Oh! Don't forget, meatballs with sotong bits in it.
Alright! That's it with the ordering. Perfectly cooked,
juicy tau gay, bean sprouts served in just soya sauce
and a tinge of oil. Meatballs with sotong bits in it.
It's alright, it's tasty. Steam chicken served with soy sauce and oil.
Ipoh is famous for this style of cooking. The chicken in Ipoh is
supposed to be smooth
and tender, they say it's in the water. All these are to be eaten with rice
or plain noodle soup.
