Missing you is a sad song with a lot of winter styles and looks. Park Bom sports a few different
makeup looks including one with glitter elements on it but I particularly love the burgundy
makeup look on park bom, that I think is a dramatic look that still looks relatively
natural
This makeup look is extremely simple to do once you get the hand of it and makes your
eyes look amazingly big and sad and your lips look delicate and pretty.
The main points of this look is the smokey droopy eyes and the burgundy ombre gradient
lip.
Let start!
Step one create a flawless canvas
Point: The music video is set in winter so we want to create a combination of glowy but
matte skin to match the winter effect.
I started off with a brightening moisturiser as a base which will help keep your skin looking
moist and supple.
Applying a cushion foundation that is not too thick allowing the glow to come through
your skin.
Use a concealer to cover any areas that are still uneven after your foundation. I used
a brush for a smoother effect. For under eye you can apply it in diagonal downward strokes
for a smoother effect.
Finish off with a slight dusting of face powder to set. The theme is winter, so a slight matte
look is appropriate
Step 2 create your smokey eyes
Point: This look has a really clean smokey eye. The most interesting thing about this
eye look is the little gap between the top and the bottom of the eyeshadow application.
Apply a eyeshadow base so that your shadows can stand out and stay on for longer
We're going to create the line first so we know where to avoid applying the black shadow.
I used a high shadow and an angle brush and followed my natural downward curve from the
corner of my eye. You can adjust the angle depending on how droopy you want the look
to be. Park bom has very droopy eye shadow designs to make her look cuter! This will
be your "gap"
Use the same colour and apply to your brow bone for more volume.
Now use a matte dark grey or almost black shadow and apply it with a thin brush along
the top of your lids and extend out, follow your beige shadow line.
Now apply it on our lower lids from the out ⅔ rd of your eyes. extend it till it makes
a nice diagonal line with your top shadow. This is how you know how far to extend your
bottom shadow to.
Use a fluffy brush and blend this out.
Use a pencil or gel liner and line your eyes following your shadow lines. You want to blend
this liner in with the shadow so there is no visible line between both products.
Now curl your lashes and apply mascara.
Use a natural look pair of lashes and apply it as close to your lashline as possible.
Now use a brow mascara to fill in your brows. If the brows still need more defining use
a eyebrow pencil to clean it up and extend your lines naturally. You want a naturally
curved brow. not an arched one or a completely striaght one.
Step 3 add your winter flush
Park boms cheeks are naturally flushed like you would have in the cold weather
Apply your pink blush to the lower apples of your cheeks extending up. Patt small amounts
of colour lightly until you get a slight natural flush
Step 4 Ombre gradient rosebud lips.
This is one of my favourite parks of this look because these lips look so pretty and
kissable. Its so cute and it's a more dramatic ombre than normal.
First of all, start off with colourless lips by applying your foundation or a lip concealor
on your lips with a brush. This is also to blur out your lip line for a less defined
lip line. You need to make sure you try and moisturise your lips or it may catch on your
dry skin.
Now use a burgandy lip colour, and use a brush for more precision and apply it only in the
middle of your lips.
Now carefully use your fingers to dab the colour out, blending it slighting but also
trying to keep the contrast as much as possible.
If you have nice smooth lips you can leave this look matte, but I have pretty bad lip
wrinkles and need to add a bit of gloss on top to make them less visible. I used my brush
with left over product to reduce the shine of my gloss to create a more matte effect.
Step 5 Constume!
Now I didn't happen to have Park Bo's hairstyle or hair color but I used this wig to create
the effect!
And now we're done!
A cute smokey eyes look that is very flattering on. You may want to tone it down for everyday
wear as the eyes can be a bit dramatic but it was so fun to wear this look out!
Don't forget to wear this look with a smile
