YOU NEED ONE SET OF POLICIES
THAT ARE BOUGHT INTO THAT THE
PUBLIC AND PRIVATE SECTOR CANNY
AROUND AND IT NEEDS TO BE IN
PLACE OVER A 10 YEAR PERIOD.
AND THAT'S SOMETHING WE HAVE NOT
BEEN ABLE TO PULL TOGETHER.
IF WE WANT TO CHANGE THIS
ECONOMY THAT'S WHAT IT WILL
TAKE.
WHERE DO YOU SEE ROOM FOR
OPTIMISM?
I WILL OPTIMISTIC ABOUT THE
FUTURE AND RHODE ISLAND.
I LOVE LIVING HERE.
THIS IS AN INCREDIBLE PLAYER
PLACE.
IT'S QUIRKY NO QUESTIONEE ABOUT
THAT.
IT IS A GREAT PLACE TO LIVE AND
INTERESTING.
IT IS SO DIVERSE.
THERE IS AN INCREDIBLE TALENT IN
THIS STATE THAT IS TOO
FRAGMENTED AND WE ARE NOT TAKING
ADVANTAGE OF OUR SIZE.
OUR SIZE IS REALLY OUR STRATEGIC
WEAPON AND WE HAVEN'T FIGURED
OUT HOW TO PLAY IT.
WE NEED TO CLIMB UP ON THE
POSITIVE EDGE OF THE SWORD, OUR
SIZE TO GIVE US AN KNOWLEDGE IN
THE INNOVATION AND
ENTREPRENEURSHIP.
I'M OPTIMISTIC AS I WATCH MY
CHILDREN AND THE MILLENNIAL
GENERATION GIVE ME GREAT CAUSE
FOR OPTIMISM.
