In this video I'm playing a new game that I downloaded yesterday off Steam
it's called Chivalry: Medieval Warfare.
You might remember it as a Half-Life 2 mod.
I played that for a little bit
not for very long though as certainly I was waiting for this game
to come out, to check it out to see what it was like
and yeah, so far I haven't been too disappointed unlike another recent game
War of the Roses which I thought
didn't quite meet the expectations that I had for it.
Some argue that this game is a little bit more "arcadey" than others,
such as Warband
however in my opinion I think
Chivalry really hits a sweet spot
for
balanced gameplay.
Quite a violent game. Something that I kinda missed
in the War of the Roses. I thought it was a little bit
dumbed down. A lot of limbs getting chopped off, heads falling off.
Definitely a lot of weapons to master, double handed, single handed, ranged
pretty low on health here so I'm probably going to die
and yeah,
he got me pretty good there.
The developers should definitely be very satisfied with
what they've achieved in this game. From going from
Half-Life 2 modification
through to the start-up
Kickstarter phase, raising an immense amount of capital in fact one of the
success stories of the
Kickstarter website.
The fans should
definitely be very pleased with the result.
and finally,
here's a good example on how
not to play, Chivalry: Medieval Warfare.
Thanks for watching.
