Here we have a variation of the pencil skirt. This one I designed with a slit in the front,
and the slit in the front is for looks as well as functionality, because when you slit
a pencil skirt, it's creating more space. You can, instead of walking like a penguin
in a straight up and down type pencil skirt, you allow your legs to move more and you have
more of a range of motion. So, here is a pencil skirt with a front slit, very, very, very
basic, it is what it is, simple. Draw out a natural waist, decide how far out you're
going to flare, obviously you have to go over the hips, and I like to come in to the knees,
and then make your hem line, and you can have the front slit be anywhere on the front that
you want. I had mine a little bit off center, I like the way that looks better, so you have
one side with more space right there. Draw your front slit, then finish the other side.
