Hey, it’s Marlee from Metamorphoself.
How’s it going?
Okay, so today, I’m going to get back in the trenches with you
in a client coaching session.
I have been having such interesting questions come up in these sessions
that I think that sharing them will help you so much,
because there are probably a lot of people that are asking these kinds of questions
or going through these things.
And so, I want to share them with you.
In this particular instance,
I have a client who launched an online business
that’s related to social media.
Although they have a very unique niche and angle,
believe it or not,
there’s still a way to innovate within this social media space
and this person has done that.
I’m so excited for them,
because I truly believe that if they continue to do the right things,
they’re going to have massive success with their online business.
They’re already starting to see that,
but it hasn’t fully developed.
One of the things that this person expressed to me
was that they were afraid of having their clients quit their programs.
Basically, they want to know how do they get people to not quit what they’re offering,
because it’s not a continuity program online
but it is a service that’s offered on a monthly basis.
So, it was very clear to me that immediately,
there is a disconnect between the quality
or what they believe the quality or value of their products and services are,
and that which they feel that their client may perceive.
So, the answer to that is:
1. Make sure that you have your right customer,
because the right customer is going to value your work,
they’re going to appreciate your work,
and they’re not going to nickel and dime you.
So, you’re not going to feel like you need to be on pins and needles
trying to make sure that they’re not going to quit your service,
because they value your service,
they want it, and they need it.
2. The second part of that is that you need to make sure that you’re working with excellence all of the time.
You need to over deliver all of the time.
You need to give so much value
that you’re being paid what you’re worth,
that you know you’re giving more than what they actually pay for.
And that’s very important in making sure that your customers feel like they are receiving the most value
out of whatever it is that you give them.
If you take those two components
and having the right customer and making sure that you’re providing exceptional value,
you’re not going to have to worry about those kinds of issues
in terms of people not wanting to stay with your product and your service,
unless of course they no longer have a need for it,
in which case, you need to make sure that you’re looking at ways to fill the various needs for your customers
that are within your niche and within your specialty.
So, I hope you found that helpful today.
If you’ve experienced anything like this,
like a fear and anxiety about having one of your clients quit your coaching business,
or having one of your clients quit a product or service,
let us know how you handled that in the comments below.
I’d love for you guys to share that so we can talk about it a little bit.
And also, keep in mind that if you’re doing those two things,
you eliminate a need or a concern about that.
So, I hope you’re having a great week.
As always, thank you for watching.
I look forward to talking to you again really soon.
