The foot placement that you'll need for a nollie lipslide is basically the same as any
straight nollie that you're going to do. Your back foot is going to depend on however high
the obstacle is that you're getting on. So let's say you're trying to get on a high obstacle.
You're going to slide it just slightly in so that you can get a little bit higher. For
something about this high you'll set up with your foot just before the back set of trucks
or back set of mounting hardware. With your front foot you're going to want to put it
right on the sweet spot of the nose. Don't hang your toe over too much. You want to try
to get as much pop out of it as you can because you want your nollie 90 to be level just above
the rail and to come down and have as much control as possible. Remember when you land
in the lipslide position the rail is going to be right in the middle of the board. So
you're not going to want your foot to end up too much on the nose or too much on the
tail. You're going to want the feet to end up just about over the trucks during the slide.
When you get to the end of the lipslide the foot position that you're going to need is
to slightly adjust and land with your foot a little bit on the tail. This will make it
easier when you roll away to have balance and be in the more comfortable rolling position,
and also if you end up landing with your back wheels first, you're able to fix it and roll
away straight like you want to, and this is the foot position for a nollie lipslide.
