Ashford University was the only one willing to let me transfer in the
credits that worked with me.
I was absolutely astounded how many of
my early college credits they were able to transfer. They transferred everything
in and gave me a good idea of
what path to take from there. All I had to do was
send in my transcript from the military and he said "Oh, well
there are a lot of credits that we can accept." When I first started I had
73, 74 credits, and I'm like, "That's not far from
120. I can do this!"
I cut down a year of my education because of my military credits.
I was able to transfer credits from three earlier attempts at universities
in the 70s, in the 80s, and
in the early 2000s, from three different colleges to Ashford University.
And that way I didn't have to go back and start over, I was able to just keep
going.
I lived it. I earned it. I earned it.
I lived it, and now I'm using it.
