Traveling is something that can
be a very stressful situation for people.
A new study led by
University of Toronto's
associate professor of organizational behavior,
Katherine A. DeCelles, has learned that
economy passengers in an airplane
experience air rage more than if they
were in first class by 3.84 times.
Also if they had to walk through first
class to get to their seat rather
than boarding through the middle
of the plane where economy seating is
located they are likely to experience
air rage more than 2.8 times.
Other things that have caused these
moods are the crowds and
small seating areas on the plane.
Despite the news reports saying that
air rage cases are rising,
the study found that air rage is rare,
but the Federal Aviation Administration
also does not require flight crew to
report cases of air rage.
