What's up everybody, Justin Hays here from superhumanpursuits.com. Today's topic, the
idea that everything you do is a repetition, right? I'm calling that the idea about a rep
in a gym, right? Everything you do in your day-to-day life, everything you do, period,
is a repetition. You're practicing for something, right? The way I drive, how I sit when I drive,
how I sit when I work, how I walk, how I run, just a regular day-to-day stuff that I do.
You need to be conscious of how you're moving because you are in fact grooving anything
that you do. The way you sit over and over and over again. You're grooving that pattern
and what do that good posture when you're sitting or bad posture, but you're feeding
one or the other. You're either getting better when you're getting worse. Everything that
you do on a day-to-day basis is training in essence, not just in the gym but everywhere
else. Why? Because it all adds up to the final product; it is you. The way your posture works,
the way your movement is, is a reflection of everything you do day-to-day.
My message, my takeaway here is that with everything you do, you're progressing, you're
getting better or you're regressing. The choice is yours and what I would advise is that you
made a conscious effort throughout your day to think about all the movements you do, how
you could perform in better and then make yourself aware of them because if you are
consciously aware of what you're doing, consciously aware of how you're moving, and you're thinking
about it, you'll have to do that for some time, right, to groove that pattern but then
eventually, it will become unconscious. The patterns you do, the way you sit, the way
you stand, the way you walk. Eventually, those will be a point where unconsciously, you'll
just move properly. That is the end goal.
The end goal is the idea that you just move and it looks great but you don't have to be
aware of it anymore. It's just like an unconscious natural reaction. That's it. Hope that hump
side a little bit. If you enjoyed this, please, I'd appreciate it you staring out there on
any social network, on YouTube. Any comments, questions, love to hear them, talk to you,
guys, later.
