What are you going to make? Pallila Pulagam
Ingredients required to make Pallila Pulagam
Rice, Jaggery, Groundnuts, Sesame, Bengal Gram, Cashews, Almonds, Ghee
Take a pan and heat it
Add 6 cups of water (for 2 cups of rice used)
Roast 1 cup of peanuts, remove the peel and ground them into a coarse powder
Roast 1 cup of sesame and ground them into a powder
Soak 1/2 cup of bengal gram in water for 1 hour
Soak the 2 cups of rice in water for 1 hour
Add the rice into the hot water
Add the 1/2 cup of saoked bengal gram
Boil the rice and bengal gram for 5 mins
Add the coarse peanut powder
Add 2 tsp of sesame seeds powder
Add some crushed jaggery
Close the lid and cook for 5 mins
Take it into a serving bowl
Garnish with some fried cashews, almonds
