We are passing during these days through a painful anniversary,
the martyrdom anniversary of the great Muslim thinker, the late Ayatollah Sayyed Muhammad Baqir As-Sadr
and his oppressed Alawiyya sister Bintul-Huda.
The greatness of the personality of this grand famous scholar exposed the depth of malice and vileness of his murderers,
and the question about what the international community did in regards to this great tragedy, remains unanswered.
Did the international organizations that claim they are defending human rights do anything useful in this regard?
Did they investigate in the incident of killing of this world-renowned Muslim personality?
And did they ask about the causes of murdering such a rare individual in the modern international scholarly and intellectual communities?
The ruling regime of murderers in Iraq kidnapped him and his sister from his house in the city of Najaf Al-Ashraf
and after a while they dumped his noble corpse into the graves.
And I have heard that the friends of the happy martyr who, after an immense effort,
were able to witness his pure body and saw horrible signs of torture practiced by the executioners.
May the mercy of Allah [swt] and his blessings be upon his soul, his sister’s, and upon a lap that nurtured him,
a house that sheltered him, and a land that contained between its folds his bleeding body.
And May the eternal curse of Allah [swt] be upon his killers, his torturers, and his oppressors.
