Elmo: Ok, let's see Elmo's email,...ah, it's from Elmo's friend, Prairie Dawn. Prairie Dawn: Hello, Elmo, & Merry Christmas! Places, everyone, places, places! I've written a very special Christmas pageant, Elmo, it's called "The 1st Christmas". Alright, it's showtime, people! (Sung) O welcome, O welcome to our little play, where we will tell you all of that 1st Christmas day; away in a manger a long time ago, this is how it all started, now, on with the show Joseph & Mary: (Sung) We're Mary & Joseph, we've no place to stay, that's why we're out here with the animals & hay, but something has happened that's filled us with joy; we've just been blessed with a special baby boy, this son we named Jesus, so special was he that a star shine above him for all to see Barn Animals: (Sung) Wise men from the East saw the star, & they knew that it'd point to the baby, so they went there, too 3 Wise Men: (Sung) O we are 3 wise men, we followed that star; it led us to this baby, we've traveled so far, this child is special, so these gifts we bring - gold, frankincense, & myrrh - all fit for a King Angel: (Sung) This little special baby would grow up to be a great teacher to many, so now you can see... Mary & Joseph, Barn Animals, Angel, & 3 Wise Men: (Sung) ...why each year we now celebrate Christmas Day to honor that baby on his birthday Elmo: So Christmas presents are kind of like birthday presents. Elmo never thought of that. O thank you, Computer. O Computer? Merry Christmas.
