In this segment, we're going to talk about the trailer hitch insert. Now that we've got
our trailer hitch mounted up and got it secured and properly torqued, we're going to insert
our trailer hitch into the coupler. This is the part of the trailer hitch that you're
going to put the ball on, and you're also going to adjust this piece to be able to load-level
out the load of the trailer, because you don't want the trailer's nose to be too high or
too low. We'll talk about that more later. But, in order to get this in here securely,
we're going to need the trailer hitch pin. Here's what the pin looks like, and you've
got a cotter key that goes with it. Very important. You put it in, and you line up the key to
the hole, and you put it in, and then you put the cotter pin on the other side. And
we'll reverse it so you can see what it looks like from your angle. Insert it in, then we'll
put the key in like this. Now, this can't come out and your trailer doesn't disappear.
