Interviewer: So, it's basically the Six Million Dollar Man with a computer
chip in his brain?
Josh Holloway: Has been said. Has been said. Yeah. Yeah. So, I guess it's a
dramatic thriller with strong female characters and a kind of thinking
man's hero, if you will. It's like he has all the abilities, physical
abilities like a James Bond and Jason Bourne type thing but it's with a
chip in his brain and it brings it very current with today's technology,
with things that are actually going on with the fact that humans today are
being enhanced through different prosthetic limbs and so forth that are
highly, the technologies incredible now what they can do. Computer chips
with neural implants and so forth of helping quadriplegic people navigate
wheelchairs, things of that nature. This is not far off. So, that's what's
every exciting about it and current.
Interviewer: And how will the human bond between your three characters
matter to this crime?
Meghan Ory: Well, I think that's the most important thing.
Josh: Yes.
Meghan: You know and I think that's what the audience will you know connect
to probably more than the technology or even more than some of the cases.
Is that, we all are, you know we all work for the government, the US
government, we all work for this agency, Cyber Command. And, we ultimately
all want to have all Americans safe from harm as well as the entire world
safe from harm. That's basically what...
Josh: Yeah, we're basically trying to save humanity from cyber espionage
and things of that nature. So, you know we make movies and TV shows and so
forth about human relationships and it's just very interesting now that
they're putting the technology as well and how closely those are related
now because of the fact that we are so connected to computers and it's
changing the way we communicate with each other. Changing how we connect
with each other. So, we have to as a society as a whole we have to embrace
that because it's happening.
Interviewer: And, finally as a mid-season show, what should viewers hang on
to and wait for? What's the schtick that you want them to wait for and hold
a space for?
Marg Helgenberger: The shows going to be awesome and they need to hold
their breath until we air in February.
Meghan: I think number one, it's just action packed. It's very
entertaining. I think it's got something for everyone. I think that it's
engaging and intellectually stimulating but it's also such a fun ride and
it's got the three of us in it. So, that's what I was going to say.
Josh: There you go. It's a great cast, great great pace and energy level.
It's full of action and full of technology. That's exactly, it's the mix.
So, it's both you know it's the whole spectrum.
Marg: It's going to be great. A really fun ride, I think.
Josh: Yes.
