Hello and welcome to WineLibraryTV in Paris ooh là là
I’m your host Michelle Chmielewski
And I don’t know as much about wine as Gary Vee, but I do know that white wine goes with fish
and red wine goes with everything
And if you live in France, as long as you’re 15, you’re good to go
But not as long as you can’t see over that counter
Not until you can see over the counter
You see, living in Paris is expensive
Whereas it might cost you an arm and a leg and a small child just to get something to eat
A bottle of wine is right in your budget
Whereas a good bottle of French wine will cost you $25 in the U.S. -- It’s $10 !
Even the champagne is cheap -- that's a whole other video
And see whereas Americans will give you a rifle when you open a bank account -- true story
I want the account where I can get the free gun
You do a CD, and we’ll hand you a gun. We have a whole brochure here
The French will sell you a wine-tasting kit when you go to the post office
And whereas Australians invented wine in a box
The French invented wine on a USB key
And whereas the Chinese will make you taste - - or so I’ve heard
15 different types of *** during a business dinner
The French will make you taste 15 different types of wines before you even get to dessert
And you must be able to identify the bouquet
In Brazil, it’s accepted to walk around with a beer can
In France I take my wine on the metro
With cups to share. Don’t forget the cups to share. It’s just rude.
And today it seems we’ll be sharing a very sooty 2004 Saint Emilion Grand Cru
And also in the U.S., the end of November means Thanksgiving
In France, it means the nouveau Beaujolais, a type of red wine, has come out
In my house, it’s going to mean a mix of the 2:
Beaujolais, turkey, and pumpkin pie. And apple pie.
