Signing up for Google+: A guide by Carter Gibson (narrated by Andrij Harasewych)
Go to plus.google.com and you'll be greeted with this page. If you already have a
Gmail, use that account information. If you don't have a personal Gmail account,
be sure to click "sign up"
You'll be taken to ths page immediately if you click sign up.
Take special note that you're creating a full google account. Your username will
actually create a gmail account for you.
A google account? You thought you were just creating a google+ profile. Well, you're
actually doing both.
Google+ ties all of Google's services like Youtube, Maps and Gmail together.
You only need one account to access all of it.
Instead of five logins for five services, you have just one. It simplifies things.
Seriously
It's that easy.
You're done!
Well, not done yet.
A very important screen here will ease you into the look and feel of Google+
Google+ logs you into all these services found in the top black bar.
You can easily access them, and they are present on almost all Google sites.
Also, don't be lonely! Be sure to use the Google suggested user lists to
follow some interesting people. There are a ton of subjects, and don't forget
to scroll down in that little box and find more!
If you click into a list you can even preview the type of content you'll see
if you follow them.
you can follow them all, or just circle a few. Of course here, circle means follow.
Just be awesome. A more complete profile and a picture will help people find you
and add you to their circles.
Now, welcome to Google+. Be sure to watch the welcome video there, and walk
yourself through the G+ tips that automatically show up.
Feel free to search for content or explore popular posts.
