You have a legal problem. You're in the process of trying to decide who in the world can help
me solve this problem. My name is Ken Johnson. I'm a member of Fleming, Nolen & Jez in Houston,
Texas and we help people solve their legal problems every day. Here's some basic things
you need to keep in mind. It's kind of like going to see the doctor. If you have a simple
problem then a general practitioner can help you. If you have a more complex problem then
you're looking for specialty; you're looking for someone who has extra training, knowledge
and skill to help you solve the problem. The same is true with legal counsel. If you have
a significant problem, then most likely you're going to need a specialist. When you're looking
for specialists, what you're looking for are knowledge, skill, training and experience
to solve your problem. If you have a significant problem and it looks like litigation is the
only way that problem is going to be solved, then my recommendation is that you find someone
that has a distinguished track record in resolving the types of problems that you specifically
have. Other things that you need to look at are the financial resources of the firm. Can
they afford to help you solve your problem? Beyond that, do they have the knowledge to
prepare the case for trial? Do they have to skill to persuade the judge and a jury that
your position is the right position? And ultimately, do they have the commitment to see the case
all the way to the finish even if there's an appeal? We do those things here at Fleming,
Nolen & Jez. My name is Ken Johnson. Give us a call if we can help you evaluate and
resolve a litigation problem.
