Hello, love. I just got home.
I'm just calling to remind you that you've got to be back by four tomorrow so that we
can get to the fireworks on time.
Have you told your Dad yet?
No.
Well, tell him now.
But we're watching football.
Josh, all you have to do is tell your Dad.
Dad, Mum says I have to be home by four tomorrow, for the fireworks.
That's not possible Josh. We're having lunch with Manni tomorrow so we won't be able to
be back in time.
Mum, Dad says we're having lunch with Uncle Manni tomorrow, so we can't be back by four.
I heard him. Well, you tell him that's not ok. You can see Manni any time but the fireworks;
they're once a year.
He's just trying to spoil things for us. You tell him right now.
Dad, Mum says that's not ok. The fireworks are only once a year.
Look, the agreement is that I drop you back home on Sundays by 6pm and the fireworks don't start until later and she knows that.
And, I always get you back on time and I always stick to the agreement and so should she.
And, while you've got her on the phone, you can tell her that when I take you to the big
match for your birthday, I'm going to need to pick you up an hour earlier than usual.
And, at least one of us here seems to know how to give notice.
Mum, Dad says we're going to be home by six because that's the agreement
and he's going to pick me up early on my birthday for the big match. Sorry, Mum.
I do stick to the agreement.
Look, I just want you to have a good time at the fireworks. You tell him that.
Tell him he's trying to spoil things for you.
He can't just tell me he's changing things at the end of the month.
Josh? Did you hear what I said?
Yes Mum.
Well, you tell him that and you ring me back. Love you.
Bye, Mum. Love you too.
