Chris Howard: Hi, this is Chris Howard with Durst Image Technology here in
Orlando, SGIA 2013. It's been a fantastic show this year. The association,
SGIA, has put on another wonderful trade show event; lots of attendance,
lots of interest in the new technologies that are being introduced.
Announcer: Durst is continually entering into new market segments in the
graphics industry. Durst research and development has the clear knowledge
and understanding for every aspect of the printing process which provides
the latest innovative advancements in the Rho product portfolio.
Precision and quality are the key factors for Durst. This is the basis for
our high volume printers, for flatbed and roll-to-roll. The newest
additions to the Durst world product line in the high-speed flatbed
offering, the evolution of the Rho 1000 series, brings the Rho 1012 and the
Rho 1030.
The Rho 1012 is the fastest 12-picoliter printer in its class. The Rho 1030
takes the production curve even further along the large-format digital
print run spectrum with production speeds up to 10,000 square feet per
hour.
One of the most important things for Durst is to feature and demonstrate
our products to our customers that help show how our Rho products can
optimize a print provider's work flow. This relates to variable data print,
file set-up and color management, all into the Durst front-end. That brings
more value and profitability for our customers.
The latest addition to the 5-meter platform is the Rho 512 which prints at
12 picoliters for small text and fine art application with varia-drop gray-
scale for back-lit and high-quality indoor application, or varia-drop 20
for banner and far-distance viewing.
Customers look to differentiate themselves from their competition. Today it
is much more than just placing an ink-jet printer into their business to
then be successful. Print shops need to be versatile with high print
quality to be that leader.
Providing further advancements for the textile printing market, Durst
presents the Rhotex 322, a direct-to-textile printing system with the
resolution up to 1200 dpi and productivity up to 1500 square feet per hour
in two paths which is by far the fastest textile printer for soft-signage
dye-sublimation printing in the market.
Durst delivers a purpose-built solution for the future. Our products are
designed for performance, reliability, and longevity offering you the
highest print quality, productivity, and efficiency. The continuous
innovative drive of Durst remains instrumental for providing our customers
the long-term competitive advantage to growing their business.
