Hello. My name is Sarunas and this time I present my latest creation - this scooter.
It is special, because it is electric, converted from gasoline, model Peugeot JetForce 50.
Original petrol engine power was 3.5kW, and now, average long-term power is 7kW.
It can be fully charged in 20-30 minutes from any 220V mains socket.
Drivable range is only 20 km, as it has a small battery for testing purposes.
Larger battery is being prepared, expected range is 100km.
The scooter had a variator, which was left intact; however cylinder, crankshaft, generator and
water pump were removed and AC electric motor with custom shaft was placed in the place.
From outside this scooter in unexceptional, only air filter, kickstart, carbureteur and exhaust system are missing.
Also one could notice that petrol tank cap is replaced by charging port.
I'm going now, but while I am at it, please check technical documentation.
This conversion officially is considered "simple",
because no structural integrity points were altered in any way,
however whole project was quite long and complex,
so I suggest you watch second part of the video
to learn more about main conversion steps.
