Masters Services procedures for chimney cleaning. We will arrive in our clean, logo'd truck.
Our uniformed technician will come to the front door and pleasantly greet you that we
are here for your chimney sweep inspection. Once at the fireplace we will inspect the
fireplace and see if there is any fire hazard issues. We will go over any issues before
any work is performed. Then the chimney cleaning can begin.
A large clean tarp will be spread out in front of the fireplace. All the equipment is then
brought in and set on the tarp. A light is put out so that we can see cresote and soot
falling, ensuring that the vacuum picks it all up. A pole with a brush is running up
to the top of the chimney flue to remove any hazardous soot.
As you can see, our high powered vacuum is collecting the soot for guaranteed no mess
chimney cleaning. Once there is no more soot falling, we will
then remove the poles and brush and clean the firebox.
This fireplace had a reflector shield installed a few years ago by Masters Services because
the back panel kept breaking. After 3 cords of wood burning as you can see the reflector
shield has protected the panels, we recommend one for everyones fireplace. Once the firebox
and flue is clean we will remove all equipment in an orderly fashion as to keep the area
completely clean.
