In Cambodia, 29% of the population lives with less than USD 1,25 a day
Only 7% of young people can go through higher education
PN Cambodia gives you the chance to get out of poverty
and get a good job in the IT field
Find out how with one of our students!
Hi! My name is Korng and I am second year student of Passerelles Numériques Cambodia
What is Passerelles numériques you ask?
Follow me and I will show you!
PN is an IT Vocational Training Centre
Every year the center enables a large number of disadvantaged students like I was
to receive a high-level education in the IT sector and to get a qualified job.
Attending PN's school is completely free of charge for the students
Through PN's scholarship we receive monthly allowance for our day to day life in the capital
Health care is also provided to students.
During the first year students of Passerelles numériques Cambodia live in a boarding house like this one.
It is a nice place to stay
where we can cook, study, or simply stay together
And what about the classes?
Lets meet one of the teachers to find out which kind of studies we do at PN's school!
Here at Passerelles numériques we offer two 2-year training programs
SNA - Systems and Network Administrator
and WEP - Web Programmer
We also offer a 6-month program in collaboration with Digital Divide Data
Students choose the curriculum they prefer after a 3-month general training
We teach what the technology industry needs in Cambodia
Our ultimate goal is to enable all students to find a good job
Technical skills are important, but to succeed in the labor world
having good soft skills and a professional behavior is also fundamental.
That is why at the end of every year students have the opportunity to intern for a company
So they can understand better what the real life job is like
Ezecom is very grateful to Passerelles numériques Cambodia
for sending us its graduates
to share with us their technical skills
So far, students from Passerelles numériques have proved to be very proactive
committed and interested in their work, and they are eager to exchange experiences with the senior staffs
I think PN is a good vocational training center
which can equip students with useful skills to find a good job
How do we achieve these good results?
Thanks to the intensive classes of English and Business Life
designed to teach students how to be an exemplary employee!
Passerelles numériques takes care of its students even after the graduation
In fact we can benefit from the services of the Company department
which helps us getting a job according to our attitude and competences
Every year 99% of the students
find a job within three months of graduation
with an average monthly salary three or four times higher than the national average salary
I graduated from Passerelles numériques in 2010
I became a staff at my company after an internship
I work as a web developer
and I earn USD 250 per month
With my salary I can help my siblings to pursue their studies at university
One of the most important concerns of Passerelles numériques is to take care of the next generations
All PNC second year students are requested to take part in the Solidarity Act project One of the most important concerns of Passerelles numériques is to take care of the next generations
All PNC second year students are requested to take part in the Solidarity Act project
They commit to donate small sum to the organization after they graduate, but only if they earn more than 120$
This fund will be later used to support other disadvantaged, young people
to attend any of our programs
It is a good example for the next generation
So…do you want to grab this amazing opportunity and become one of the students of Passerelles numériques next year?
