Park Sora has such a unique look, and she' always looks fab. I thought I'd have a go
at creating her signature natural makeup look.
The most important thing about this look is to capture the unique way she does her eyeliner.
Lets start
Step 1 - natural looking skin
Apple your favourite foundation or bb cream using a stippling brush. Then, use your warm
hands to press against your face to melt the product into your skin creating a smooth natural
finish. Apply concealer and then finish off with a light dusting of face powder
Step 2 Create Park Sora style eyes
Start off by applying an eyeshadow base to your eyelids, this helps you eyeshadows stay
on longer and appear brighter. Next apply a light beige pearl shadow all over your eyelids.
I used my fingers to smooth and melt the product into my eyelids. Use a eyeshadow brush to
apply a medium warm brown shadow to the outer half of your crease and blend it up slightly
to define your crease.
Swipe the light beige pearl shadow onto your lower lids to brighten your eyes and add youthful
volume to your lower eyelids.
Park Sora wears her eyeliner very thinly, so use careful dotting motions to keep your
eyeliner as close to the lashline as possible, I started from the middle and followed the
natural curve of my eye to the end. Extend down slightly in a thin line. Finish off by
dotting towards the front of the eye.
Tightline the waterline to finish off the natural eyeliner look.
Because my eyeshadow was a bit too shimmery, I toned down the shimmer by dabbing on some
face powder on top. This creates a more natural look.
To open up the eyes, I also applied some beige eyeshadow to the bottom waterline. You can
also use a pencil.
Now finish off your eyes by curling your lashes and applying mascara to top and bottom lashes.
It's best to use a lengthening mascara as you won't be using any fake lashes for this
look. Concentrate on building your bottom lashes as well, to create definition.
Use a Q-tip to clean up any smudged mascara on the bottom lashes.
The final part of this look is to extend the eyeliner from the inner corner of your eye.
I'm not sure if you noticed but Park Sora has really long, semi-circular shaped eyes.
so if you have normal length eyes like myself it's important to create the illusion of longer
eyes by extending your eyeliner from the inner corner too. I extended this in a way so that
the overall eyeshape looks curved. This may take some practice.
Step 3 eyebrows
Create a straight korean eyebrow, using a soft powder or a soft pencil. Make sure it's
light and not too dark. You can check out my straight korean eyebrow tutorial for this
technique.
Step 4. Lips
Park Sora switches between bright red/coral lips and a natural flushed lip. I'm going
to be doing the natural flushed lip. First you blur out the outline of your lips by applying
foundation or concealor. Set it with some powder.
Use your fingers and dab some pink lipstick in the center of your lips. Watch my korean
lip tint tutorial for more information on this technique. Finish off by applying a orange
tinted lipstick on the out edges of your lips.
Step 5 blush
Apply a pink blush to the apples of your cheeks, to create a healthy flush.
And we're done!
It was pretty fun channeling Park Sora for the day, although it's not a look I would
normally wear. It made my eyes really unique looking and stand out. What do you think?
I got so into the look that I even created a Park Sora inspired outfit post on my blog,
