I never considered other people different,
i never found particular differences
but only the most superficial diversity
like the height, the weight,
female and male, handsom or ugly,
young or old.
I never had preconception
which has been a limit in my life.
Attending a charity house
educated myself in this way:
I get use to don't have
any problem
in diversity acceptance.
I work in this canteen both for a humanitarian works
and for my personal faith.
The christian faith would like to create
a different behavior toward other people.
Often the the volunteer are inclined to exclude,
to consider themselves better
because they are who serve the food:
we are the good and the other are the bad,
the other have to accept the food
we offer them disregarding that people have their habits,
their traditional foods, their different behavior
because they came from other country,
where they had different ways of life .
To integrate myself in this reality
I trained me at the charity house,
then is natural for me feel no difficulty in this Caritas' canteen
where the differences are so much;
I would like to persuade my friends,
that come here to help me, that the people that come here to eat,
are like us,
they aren't different.
Sometimes would be enough to open the heart...
when an action is done by heart, it's better and easier.
Often we stop ourselves at the theorist level:
we only think if the person who are in front of us need something,
if he deserves it, if we must do this action.
