Easy Updates With Nico De Swert
Hi, I'm Nico De Swert, I'm a floral designer, and interior stylist,
and I would love to show you three easy, elegant bridal centerpieces.
My first centerpiece I'm going to build on this beautiful square based
pillar holder from Pottery Barn. They have them in a large and in small,
I'm gonna use the large one for my arrangement, and it's basically a floral foam that is
in a little dish like this, you can buy it at the flower store,
so we're putting it into the holder like that and just taking the flowers, very strong,
very inexpensive, and what I love about them is that you put them close, petal to petal,
flower to flower like this, that you create a beautiful texture.
And that's what we're gonna do right here. I already started half, it's already half finished, so
I'm gonna add a few of the blooms, now when you cut the flower, make sure
that you cut it on a forty-five degree angle, so it's really sharp
that way it's easier to, um, push it into the flower foam.
And as you can see, very simple arrangement,
I added one on the short candleholder from Pottery Barn as well,
and if you have a long wedding table, you can just ad multiples for a dramatic statement.
My next arrangement is super simple. It is made into the bosphorous bowl from Pottery Barn,
it has a beautiful and inexpensive face, I've added some baby's breath to
my arrangement, I've created a little mat that I've woven with tropical leaves,
I've just put that on the inside of the vase,
and adding a little bouquet, put the drama, and the statement comes with this oversized
gorgeous hurricane from Pottery Barn.
Look at this, just a beautiful statement.
The last bridal centerpiece is probably the most dramatic,
I've made it with this voluminous canister vase from Pottery Barn,
it's about twenty seven inches high,
it's gonna add a lot of drama to your table. The bouquet is made with forty chrysanthemums,
very inexpensive, very easy to get, these are the spider varieties,
there are forty of them, I've tied it together with two ribbons, just in the vase
with a little bit of water, and for some extra drama,
I added some extra ribbon to it.
There you go, three easy, simple, affordable white bridal centerpieces.
I hope you enjoyed it.
