Hi! I'm Susie on behalf of Expert Village. This is part 2 of how to create great sponsorships
for your golf tournament. Let's look at some more perks you can offer potential sponsors.
Now, if you give yourself enough planning time, you can actually contact local newspapers,
magazines, and billboards to get advertisement space donated. Not only can you use this to
promote your event, but to promote the sponsors as well. Another great idea, offer your sponsors
playing positions in the actual tournament in foursomes, or twosomes, and be sure to
include lunch as well. A great opportunity for the company to send out a few fellows
to have a good time and of course, to be recognized for participating in the event itself. Also,
if you're going to do a postcard mailing, you can actually offer sponsors ad space on
the postcards. Again, it's all about giving back and promoting the sponsors in exchange
for their financial sponsorship. Finally, you can utilize LeaderBoard Tournament Systems
to give a lot more significant exposure to your sponsors. This might be ads on the LeaderBoard
or if the company has a 30-second commercial, you can show that on the LeaderBoard during
the actual lunch program. Again, happy sponsors are sure to come back year after year after
year. One final word, be sure and recognize in kind sponsors as well. Those that might
donate beverages or prizes, even a company that donates the program itself. It's all
about recognizing their sponsors for their participation. Check out other tips on producing
