Hi, I'm Karen for Expert Village. Now we are going to sew our dress section and our blanket
section together. Now you want to make sure when you are doing the decoration our placing
your hearts that the hearts on the opposite sides of the dress section and the blanket
section. It does not matter which way as long as they are not on the same side. Because
what we are going to do is sew them together like this with the bottom attached. We want
them both on the same side in the end so they both would be where one would be upside down
and they would match like this. So when you have your sections ready you are going to
put right sides together and we would sew it along the bottom of the two section. So
we are using a quarter inch seam allowance and a regular two and half inch thread length
stitch length. You want to start by knotting that by going back and forth a little and
then sewing straight across the bottom. With a quarter inch seam allowance. Just knot that
a little on the end and check on the other side to make sure that all the fabric is caught.
Now we are going to sew the sides of our dress and our blanket and so you want to match up
the sides, the tops and again we would sew a quarter inch seam allowance. We are making
one big tube right here. Just knot that a little bit and at this point let's trim any
threads that we have hanging out. Then just turn the tube right side out and that is what
it should look like. Like a little tube. Next, we are going to attach this to the bear and
we would be finished.
