bjbj Traveling Home:MREA Fest 2010 It's about 6 o'clock on a Sunday night after the wonderful
MREA Fair. And I just want to, this is my shadow, not that I'm a shadow of myself after
the show, but it was a wonderful show and just giving you a view of the back 40 of the
MREA's land here in central Wisconsin. Steven's Point, actually Custer, Wisconsin and you
can see their windmill and some of the buildings that they have and it's really lovely here.
It was a well attended show maybe not as busy as it had been in prior years but we met some
great people, talked to some great pet owners and people hoping to own a pet in the future
and it's just really good to be part of this event and to spend some time with a lot of
folks who've been doing, doing the walk and the talk for many years. And so, I'm actually
shooting this from the exhibitor's parking here at the Custer location. And so here's
the scene. It's just so beautiful. I was just really so blessed to be here. This is the
Illinois Prairie Effort at the rest stop here, just south of Rockford, Illinois. Isn't it
lovely? I even recognize some of these flowers. I love Spirea. It's such a gorgeous fuchia
and in the distance the well loved catnip. Dopamine enhancer for many cats but not all.
Listening to the birds it's a great little stop. I have left the MREA. I'm going down
route 39 south to Joliet, IL and over to my home because last time on the way here I drove
through Chicago and it was just so packed with cars and I was so waylaid by so many
people in their cars that I decide to take the pleasant ride down route 39. Now, what
I think is interesting also is that there are all these wonderful windmills all along
39 and that was one of the reasons I took 39. Because I just find them to be so satisfying
to see against the skyline and to understand that they are producing clean energy for our
community as opposed to the clogged experience inside Chicago with all the cars and so I
really also like the farmland here and looking at the rolling hills and the trees and the
fields. So just thought perhaps you would like to see these windmills as I am seeing
them. About two-thirds of the way home. So here they are. urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags
