OK, now we've learned slurring with the bow and we've learned a little bit about playing
up the neck with our left hand fingers. Now we're going to combine those. It's going to
be a little different, because from each note we're going to have to figure out how to go
to the next note without having any interruption in the sound. So starting on the G string,
we're going to go easy enough from our G to our first finger A then to B, well now we
want to be able to play from B to C, so we're going to switch right away by moving our hand
to where our first finger is where the fourth finger is now. So now we can play B and C
with the first and second finger. We're going to move one more time. First finger to where
that second finger is. It's a short jump. So we're combining three things here: we're
slurring with the bow, we're using our hand position that we've used, and we're also using
that target practice moving from here to the same spot, then from here to the same as that
finger. So combining a lot of different things that we've learned, let's try it on the other
strings.
