All of our students want to learn English as quickly as possible, and while 94% of Kaplan
students are happy with their courses, we think we can do better.
Research shows that learning capabilities can be boosted by up to 60% by reducing muscular
tension in the body. This state of relaxation is most effectively achieved
when the student is submerged in water.
We are therefore proud to announce our newest program, Kaplan Underwater English.
Work has begun on state of the art submersion-education facilities off the coasts of the US, Australia, and the UK.
On top of our regular innovative classroom features, they will include high-pressure
learning pods, port-hole viewing stations and a state of the art flooding mechanism
to enhance the learning experience.
Tests are already underway at a local pool near Kaplan Torquay,
where a class is being put through its paces.
The first time I tried to speak underwater, I started having serious doubts about the program,
but then I realised 'wait a minute, I'm doubting about this in English!
It must be working!'
Two weeks ago, I couldn't speak a word of English. Now I'm able to hold complicated
conversations and am already 'diving in' to serious literature!
Pre-registration for the course opens on April 1st.
We're very excited about this new product. Our research is now looking at how other alternative
locations affect our K+ teaching methodology, including volcanic caverns, the arctic circle
and the moon.
