And one of the great tips for any golfer, competitive or not, but really for competitive
golf, this is essential. Keep it simple stupid. The KISS method is the one that always works
the best. Rule number one, don't take a bunch of mechanics to the golf course. Work on your
golf game on a practice range and practice rounds, develop one solid response. It will
work on all your clubs. You don't need a different swing for this driver than for this sand wedge.
You're a fixed constant. Your body needs to do the same thing, whether it's swinging a
driver, a wedge, a pitch shot, a putt or chip. The golf clubs are variables. They're based
on the definition of distance. The person with the most consistent, solid response is
the one that wins. And I'm going to be honest with you, right now Tiger Woods has that response.
So keep it simple. Don't cloud your mind with a bunch of negatives or a bunch of mechanics
when you go onto the golf course. Develop a strong response and trust it. It's that
simple.
