You know if you're one of the few people who ever seen my face on TV, it was playing tournament
poker. As a matter of fact most of the poker on television is tournament style poker. There
is only one show that is regularity on that is not tournament poker, it's a cash game.
Let's deal now with how to play tournament poker. There are some very key things to remember;
some differences between tournament poker and a cash game. We are going to look at those,
we are going to look at how in a tournament you should play a little more aggressively.
On that note there are today some very good books on how to play tournament style no limit
Texas Hold'em. The three most prominent books for that are Arnold Schneider's Poker Tournament
Formula, there is Herrington on Hold'em all three volumes. My personal favorite Kill Phil
which was written by Lee Nelson, Blair Robin and if you ever want some advise some one
to hang out with try Lee and Blair's Tournament Poker Form online. Just look up Kill Phil
Form on Google and you will find it, on another note lastly a follow up book that Lee has
written just came out called Kill Everyone, it will show you how to beat everyone in a
tournament not just the players.
