Q: How do you feel now?
A: I feel good.
Q: Have you seen Izumi's fights?
A: I feel he is growing after each fight and improving well.
Q: He is a judoka, but has good standing too. Do you think you can finish him?
A: Yes, I have multiple ways to do so.
Q: Do you have a theme for this fight?
A: This is MINOWAMAN's 20th story, and this theme is “heart”.
Q: What does that mean?
A: Well, I often have themes, but they tend to revolve around “heart”. I want to expose my own in this fight.
Q: How do you feel looking back on 2010?
A: I have yet to explode.
Q: Will that happen against Izumi?
A: I hope so.
Q: You had a hard time against judoka Ishii, so what has changed that will help you this time?
A: I learned my weaknesses in the last fight, so won't allow it to happen.
Q: Did you do any special training for this fight?
A: Not this time.
Q: Josh Barnett has been vocal about his judo vs. pro-wrestler rivalry. Do you feel the same way?
A: Yes.
Q: Why do you feel that way?
A: It isn't just against judo. He spent his life training judo, as I spent mine as a pro-wrestler. I am proud of that and want to show it.
Q: You mentioned a weakness you noticed in yourself during the Ishii fight. What were they?
A: There were several technical things I needed to change, and it made me aware that I need to change my overall lifestyle too.
Q: Last time you fought a gold medalist, and this time it is against a silver medalist. Does this mean anything to you?
A: More than the type of medal, I feel they are both top athletes of an international level I am in awe of.
Q: Izumi has Yoji Ando in his corner. Does this give you concern?
A: A little. He was a pro-wrestler so he may have an easier time reading my moves in the ring.
Q: It has been awhile since you fought someone your own size. Do you want to?
A: I don't care the size of my opponent.
Q: What do you need to be careful of with regards to Izumi.
A: Everything.
