>> Elliott: Look, you may have heard me mention my dog Gilligan before, you know as the most
handsome animal to ever live, a magnificent beast, de cutest of cutest… But there’s
no way I’d pay 2 million dollars for him… you know like a chinese businessman did for
a Tebetan mastiff puppy… making it the most money anyone has ever spent on a dog…
>> Lee: The Tibetan mastiff puppy….. (show picture) awwwwwwwwwwww… I cant… I was…
awww… I.. rook… rook at dis I didn’t wanna…
>> Elliott: lee focus we have a story to doooooo (picture change) ROOK AT DAT DOWG!!!!
>> Lee: Now the Tibetan mastiff is known for being ferocious, loyal protective, FLUFFY,
and also apparently a symbol of opulence among chinese millionaires… but their price tag
is rarely seen above the low six figure line…
>> Elliott: I mean six figures for a dog, I don’t care how… (picture) WHAT??? WHY??
ARE YOU WEARING A>>> LION PUPPY!!
>> Lee: and even though they be loyal they have a relatively short life and aren’t
even that rare so again really odd that they are fetching such a high price… but the
buyer an unnamed 56 year old property developer from Qingdao dropped 2 million!!!
>> Elliott: and again, the reason why he spent so much on the dog… status… the dog cant
even do anything!! Gilligan can sit, he can stay, he can come, he can laydown…
>> Lee: Dog things.
>> Eliott: Watch your tone lee… in fact, now that I think of it Gilligan is a way better
sell then a Tibetan mastiff… the bidding price is 3 million, no less….
>> Lee: you sure you wanna do that? I mean they’re thinking that the only reason besides
status symbol is the breeders hyping it up to make the dogs sell for more…
>> Elliott: Great Idea, 4 million….
>> Lee: Elliott… really?
>> Elliott: I cant do it! HE’s not for sale! WHAT WAS I THINKING!!!!
