There are many different types of jobs in the world.
One man is brewing for success. Did you go with the Blonde?�
People at this restaurant enjoy more than just food.
�Do we need another beer?� Beer is the drink of choice at Rhombus Guy�s
Brewery, but their cold ones are different than most.
�We use so many different types of hops and grains and just make it into something
um some sort of art.� As the head brewer, Chad is responsible for
perfecting every flavor before it hits the tap, and there�s a lot that goes into it.
�We take malted barley that�s grown here in North Dakota, run it through a mill, and
we�re converting the starches to sugars inside the grain. In return, yeast eats those
sugars and creates alcohol in beer.� Chad says the brewing takes about 6-8 hours
and fermentation takes 4-6 days. But there�s another key component to the process.
�Brewing is roughly -- I say it�s about 90-95% cleaning and sanitizing and 5% fun.�
Once everything is clean, and the beer is brewed, people are ready to taste Chad�s
hard work. �Every single one is, has a great aroma,
it has great flavor.� �I�ve had beer all over the world, microbrews
all over the world, and this is right up there.� Each beer is special.
�They�re all my babies, so I can�t really -- I�ve created all the recipes here, so
it�s hard to choose your favorite.� Whether you�re drinking the Iconic Blonde,
the Invincible, or the Freak Show, you�re tasting a glass of Chad�s imagination.
