DAILY GRACE: Shake it up!
[MUSIC PLAYING - THEME SONG]
DAILY GRACE: Hello, American-speaking dinosaurs,
Daily Grace here for MyDamnChannel LIVE.
Did you guys miss our Spectacular
birthday party yesterday?
Well, that's dumb of you.
Here's a clip!
-3, 2, 1, surprise!
Oh my god!
DAILY GRACE: Yeah.
It got real weird real quick.
For example, here's the aftermath.
Who did this?
How dare they?
The symbolism here is overwhelming.
Let's start today's show with MFCFYS--
my favorite comment from yesterday's show.
And it is from trass97.
That's so trass of you.
Give Grace a shot and then make her do a cartwheel!
Exclamation point.
OK.
I am the internet's greatest puppet.
So I will do anything you say.
Whoa!
What magic is this?
There is a shot placed conveniently below camera.
It's water.
Wink.
Cheers.
OK.
And now a cartwheel.
Take this, Gabby Douglas.
Can you do this?
Nailed it.
Nailed it.
15s from all the judges.
What's the deal with that scoring anyway?
Didn't it makes more sense when they were
scored out of 10.
[EXASPERATED SIGH]
Anyway, guys.
What a way to start this off.
USA!
I have a very, very exciting guest on today's show with me.
She was one of the stars of the Disney series Shake It Up.
And her name sounds like a heroine in a
teen vampire saga.
Please welcome Bella Thorne.
Yay.
Look at this--
BELLA THORNE: Hi.
DAILY GRACE: --adorable little girl.
Thank you so much for being here, Bella.
BELLA THORNE: Thank you, I love the room.
It's full of cats.
DAILY GRACE: There's a-- she's a cat person,
we just found out.
You have three cats?
BELLA THORNE: Uh-huh.
DAILY GRACE: OK.
BELLA THORNE: Marilyn, Penny, and May Louise.
DAILY GRACE: And May Louise.
Where did you get the news from?
BELLA THORNE: Uh, well May Louise, the cat, was born on
the day that my grandmother died.
So my grandmother's name is May Louise.
DAILY GRACE: Aww.
BELLA THORNE: She's very much like my
grandmother, I would say.
She has a huge personally.
My cat's always like Nay.
She says her own name.
DAILY GRACE: What?
When she meows, she says (HIGH-PITCHED VOICE) May.
DAILY GRACE: Do this is the smartest cat
in the whole world.
BELLA THORNE: I know.
And then Marilyn is deaf, because she is
white and blue eyes.
And then Penny is a Maine *** and she's been given to nine
different homes.
And so we kept her.
DAILY GRACE: Wow.
She is well traveled, some might say.
Well, thank you so much for being here.
It's time for Bella and I to take some of your internet Qs
and A them.
I reached out to you guys on Twitter with the hashtag
MyDamnChannelLive to ask for your questions.
So now let's answer some.
I believe we have a Twitter question first.
This is from supmykayla.
S'up, MyKayla.
What was your favorite episode of Shake It Up to film?
[IMPRESSED SOUND]
My favorite episode of Shake it Up to film is probably the
most craziest ones.
I mean, we have the Weird it Up episode is when our
characters go on a reality show.
DAILY GRACE: What?
BELLA THORNE: --for-- it's called Weird it Up.
And in that episode, we get thrown into a dumpster with
real food, real spaghetti and meatballs and sub-boy.
It was disgusting.
DAILY GRACE: What a waste of food!
DAILY GRACE: And then--
I know.
And then we had feet shoved in our faces.
And Zendaya got really lucky, because she was on this side
of me, and the camera's on this side.
And so they didn't really have to show her feet.
And it was-- we knew him too.
His name is Jamie.
DAILY GRACE: The foot guy?
BELLA THORNE: And he's a fan of our show.
Yeah.
And all they did was put like just brown makeup on his foot.
DAILY GRACE: To make it look dirty?
BELLA THORNE: But the guy that walked in for me, I was like--
he's like, oh, hi, nice to meet you.
I was like makeup did a good job.
And he goes yeah, I haven't been through make-up yet.
And I was like--
DAILY GRACE: Gross!
So now you're dating him.
BELLA THORNE: Eww.
DAILY GRACE: That's real sweet.
I have to make a confession to you.
My favorite character on the show is Henry.
BELLA THORNE: Yes, we love Buddy.
DAILY GRACE: I--
Buddy is--
oh my god--
BELLA THORNE: He's so funny.
DAILY GRACE: I never thought I'd want to have children.
And then I saw Buddy, and my heart yearned to
have him as my child.
BELLA THORNE: Ohh, I thought you were
about to say boyfriend.
DAILY GRACE: Oh, no, no, no!
Not this kind of show.
Not this kind of show.
Not here.
We do not stand for that.
No, no, no, no.
Just as my-- like I want to just like care for him.
I want to show him care-love.
BELLA THORNE: He's so cute.
DAILY GRACE: He's adorable.
BELLA THORNE: Yeah, he's really smart too.
DAILY GRACE: Adorable.
Let's take another Twitter question.
What do we have?
This is from mymytheEskimo.
How long have you known Zendaya?
Is that how you pronounce her name?
BELLA THORNE: Zin-day-a.
DAILY GRACE: Zin-day-a.
How long have you known Zendaya?
BELLA THORNE: Zendaya and I, actually we've met a few
times, but we never really got to like, you know, know each
other, just like oh, hi, I'm Zendaya.
I'm Bella.
And we met at the Mix and Match for Shake It Up.
DAILY GRACE: Ahhhh.
BELLA THORNE: There was 10 mix and matches that we had to go
through, which is 10 separate times.
That's right.
10.
DAILY GRACE: Disney Channel does not so easy on you.
BELLA THORNE: And two [INAUDIBLE]
DAILY GRACE: That is crazy.
BELLA THORNE: I know, I know.
DAILY GRACE: And you guys were at each one every time?
BELLA THORNE: Yeah, yeah.
I-- we just had instant chemistry.
And then at the test, there was no CeCe in there.
It was all Rockies and then Zendaya
and I went in together.
And I was like OK, this is going to work.
DAILY GRACE: This is magic.
BELLA THORNE: This is it.
DAILY GRACE: This is pure unadulterated magic.
That's awesome.
BELLA THORNE: Thank you.
DAILY GRACE: Do you guys get to hang out offset?
BELLA THORNE: Yeah, we like to dress up as boys
and go to City Walk.
DAILY GRACE: Who doesn't?
Who doesn't?
What is your go-to look for a boy?
BELLA THORNE: Um, We put-- we wash up all of the make-up.
It was a shooting day so we washed off all of our make-up.
And then we put our hair back in a bun with a hat over it,
like a really-- swaggy hat.
DAILY GRACE: Like a boy would do.
BELLA THORNE: Yeah, exactly.
And then we went and we raided the wardrobe department.
And we put on like Deuce's and Tai's clothes--
DAILY GRACE: Wait, what's a deuce?
I don't know.
This is--
I'm old.
I'm old.
I'm an old person.
What's a deuce?
BELLA THORNE: Deuce is a character.
DAILY GRACE: Oh, you put on Deuce's clothes.
BELLA THORNE: Yes, Deuce's clothes.
DAILY GRACE: OK.
I thought a deuce was like an article of clothing.
And I was like I don't know this hip term.
Oh.
No.
It's, um, it's just-- it's just his clothes and so--
you know--
DAILY GRACE: The earphones too?
You take the earphones?
BELLA THORNE: No, we did not.
But we had like really cool sneakers on, except it looked
really weird.
They're my dance sneakers.
And it looks so weird because they were tiny.
And so it looked like--
like a boy walking around with really tiny feet.
DAILY GRACE: A European boy, some might say.
Very European.
Let's take another Twitter question.
This is from VlogFuschia.
I was wondering if Bella has always been a dancer or if she
had to learn when she got cast for Shake It Up?
BELLA THORNE: Um, I was never a dancer before the show.
Nope.
I started--
DAILY GRACE: Could have fooled me.
Your moves on the show are so fresh, as they say.
Right?
They say that?
Right.
BELLA THORNE: Not anymore.
Um, yes, thank you though.
Uh, yeah, I started dancing in between the pilot and the
actual pick-up.
I did six months of just straight three, three, three,
dance classes a night of dancing.
DAILY GRACE: That is crazy.
So now what is your favorite style of dancing?
Do you have a favorite?
BELLA THORNE: Um, you know, probably hip hop.
That's just always the go-to, just-- just-- crunk, you know,
just getting it.
DAILY GRACE: That's-- yeah, that's--
kids.
That's what kids do.
They do that.
Let's take a YouTube comment now.
This is from danaob13.
Would you every join a flash mob dancing and why?
Join a flash mob dancing?
Hmmm.
BELLA THORNE: Um, uh, I don't know.
I don't even know how that works.
DAILY GRACE: I think I--
I think I would, but I feel like I would get overwhelmed
by everyone doing the choreography that I would
forget all the choreography instantly.
BELLA THORNE: I think it's just hard, because everyone
doesn't move differently, because, you know, it's
just a flash mob.
And you know, on the show, you have to be exactly-- you have
to look like everyone else.
So it's kind of difficult, because everybody will look a
little bit different.
DAILY GRACE: Right, right, right, right.
It's like, uh, the Olympic opening ceremonies.
That was a weird elongated flash mob, some might say.
Uh, let's take another YouTube comment.
This is from LaLaBandPage.
What's your inspiration, Bella. ps, I
love you soooo much.
I also love Daily Grace so much too.
Whoa.
Caps means they're serious.
BELLA THORNE: I love you too.
What's my inspiration?
Well, that depends on what.
DAILY GRACE: What about acting?
BELLA THORNE: What's my inspiration for acting?
DAILY GRACE: Mm-hmm.
BELLA THORNE: Um.
DAILY GRACE: Like who were some actors or actresses that
you idolized, that you feel inspired by.
BELLA THORNE: I love Emma Watson and Natalie Portman and
Christian Bale.
DAILY GRACE: You have a Natalie Portman-Emma
Watson-Christian Bale vide about you.
BELLA THORNE: Thank you.
I vibe like a guy.
Awesome.
DAILY GRACE: Well, you dress up like one.
BELLA THORNE: Uh, yes.
DAILY GRACE: So maybe it's just exuding after all the
dressing up.
No, Emma Watson, I'm also a huge fan of Emma Watson.
BELLA THORNE: She's just great.
DAILY GRACE: She can do no wrong.
BELLA THORNE: She's just ridiculously great.
DAILY GRACE: And as two redheads, you guys should get
together maybe you should remake that-- uh, uh, what was
the Lindsay Lohan film she did that made her famous when she
was younger.
Oh--
Parent Trap.
DAILY GRACE: Parent Trap.
You guys could remake Parent Trap, sort-of.
But maybe as not twins, as just sisters.
BELLA THORNE: Yeah.
DAILY GRACE: It'd be a little bit of a different movie.
We'll-- we'll talk about it after the show.
Let's take another YouTube comment.
This is from Janaahhx, Who is your celebrity crush?
DAILY GRACE: Oooh.
BELLA THORNE: Um, I don't have a celebrity crush.
DAILY GRACE: [GASP]
BELLA THORNE: I have, you know, some actors that I'm--
like Ryan Gosling.
I really admire his acting skills, like in Crazy Stupid
Love, he had to be like still dramatic, but still funny.
And that's really hard to do at the same time.
DAILY GRACE: It's true.
I admire his acting skills-- his abs.
They're wonderful.
They're really fun.
Uhh, let's take another comment.
What do we have?
This is from Cesar Valls.
What--
oh-- who's your favorite singer?
Ooh.
BELLA THORNE: Umm, well, right now, I
really like Frank Ocean.
He's really--
I think everyone likes Frank Ocean though.
He's really cool.
I love the song "Thinking about You."
DAILY GRACE: Did you see the Justin Bieber new music video?
BELLA THORNE: "For As Long As You Love Me"?
Yeah
DAILY GRACE: Yes.
What did you think of it?
BELLA THORNE: It's like you're singing with
blood on your face.
Whoa.
DAILY GRACE: He got beat up by a dad.
BELLA THORNE: Uhhh.
DAILY GRACE: It is an emotional roller coaster is
what it is.
So you should check it out. and create
an opinion for yourself.
BELLA THORNE: It was really cool.
DAILY GRACE: It was really wonderful.
I actually really enjoyed it.
BELLA THORNE: Mm-hmm.
Me too.
DAILY GRACE: It's pretty good.
Uh, let's take a Twitter question.
What do we have here?
This is from stevedawg412.
I'm a horrible dancer can you teach me some of your sweet
moves, please.
OK?
I think we can.
Bella, can you teach me as well maybe one of your
favorite dance moves.
BELLA THORNE: Well, my favorite
dance move is the Wu-Tang.
It might not look as cool in what I'm wearing.
DAILY GRACE: OK.
I don't know what that is or how it happens.
BELLA THORNE: It's-- um, if you look it up on YouTube,
it's really cool.
People doing the Wu-Tang.
It's really simple.
DAILY GRACE: OK.
BELLA THORNE: And, um, OK, first you have
to learn the hands.
And the hands are like this.
We call them Barbie doll hands.
DAILY GRACE: Oh!
These are like my natural awkward hands.
They're always like this.
They're always cupped.
BELLA THORNE: Good, then this will be easy for you.
DAILY GRACE: Hooray!
BELLA THORNE: So we go, um, you kind of just like slash
across, just so you kind of think of that.
DAILY GRACE: OK.
BELLA THORNE: And then you go to the other side.
Right.
And you go double in front.
And when you play a really cool song--
DAILY GRACE: It looks much cooler?
BELLA THORNE: And [INAUDIBLE]
clothes on, and including dance shoes, it
looks really cool.
And you do it all together.
And it just goes and one, and two, and three, and four.
DAILY GRACE: Oh my gosh, I can do this.
BELLA THORNE: Boom, and yeah.
DAILY GRACE: Yeah!
I'm so hip.
Wu-tang for life!
BELLA THORNE: Whoo.
DAILY GRACE: That's amazing.
My favorite dance move is called the point and tap.
It's just this.
Tap and point.
Tap and point.
Tap and point.
Tap and point.
Makes me laugh every time.
BELLA THORNE: I think this is good.
DAILY GRACE: Yeah, real simple.
Really impressive at weddings.
And like graduations, reunions, that sort of thing.
It's-- it's-- it's a really-- it's universal.
BELLA THORNE: It's the hot move today.
DAILY GRACE: Yeah, you can-- it's basically like the
Wu-Tang taken up a notch.
Let's take a Twitter question, shall we?
This is covernsnails.
What Olympic sport would you introduce that you could win a
gold medal in?
BELLA THORNE: Swimming.
That's right.
I love to swim.
DAILY GRACE: Do you really?
BELLA THORNE: Yeah I really do.
BELLA THORNE: Well, you're from Florida, right?
BELLA THORNE: Yeah, so of course.
DAILY GRACE: Where in Florida are you from?
BELLA THORNE: Pembroke Pines.
DAILY GRACE: OK, where is that in relation to that
awkwardly-shaped state?
I don't know where it is.
BELLA THORNE: Hmm.
DAILY GRACE: Oh no.
BELLA THORNE: OK, let's just stick with Miami.
DAILY GRACE: Miami.
OK.
BELLA THORNE: Let's just stick with Miami.
DAILY GRACE: [SPEAKING SPANISH]
Yeah, Will Smith made a whole song about it.
You can look that up on the internet as well.
Uh, let's take a comment from YouTube, shall we?
This is ishman1234567.
Cool username.
If you could be any breakfast food, what would you be?
If you could be physically any breakfast food,
what would you be?
Oof.
Umm.
BELLA THORNE: I probably wouldn't be a breakfast food.
I would be hot sauce.
DAILY GRACE: Whoa.
BELLA THORNE: Sriracha.
DAILY GRACE: She went there.
BELLA THORNE: Yeah, I'd be a hot sauce.
DAILY GRACE: What is your favorite hot sauce?
I really like sriracha.
I like, um, not a big fab on Tabasco sauce.
DAILY GRACE: No?
BELLA THORNE: It's just, no.
DAILY GRACE: Have you tried chipotle tabasco sauce?
BELLA THORNE: No, I haven't.
But I will make sure to check that out.
DAILY GRACE: Please.
If there's one thing I can leave you with, please try
chipotle Tabasco sauce.
It'll change your world.
BELLA THORNE: Oh.
DAILY GRACE: It's delicious.
BELLA THORNE: Oh.
It will change my world.
DAILY GRACE: But I just got into sriracha as well.
BELLA THORNE: Oh!
DAILY GRACE: It's great on everything.
You can put it on absolutely anything.
BELLA THORNE: Zendaya and I put in on our ramen noodles
and we let it cook.
DAILY GRACE: They're geniuses.
No wonder they're best friends.
Let's take a Twitter comment.
What do we have on Twitter?
This is from exBroadwayaddict.
Can you and Bella do the "grace face" together?
BELLA THORNE: OK, what's the grace face?
DAILY GRACE: Grace face is a very simple thing.
Think about, like, upper cutting your
chin, but not really.
It's just this.
It's a really cute, little--
and then there's a sound effect that goes with it.
Ready?
Let's see if this works.
1, 2, 3.
Tuesday [BELL CHIMES]
Ah!
It just magically happens when people make the grace face.
BELLA THORNE: Is it like a light bulb kind
of thing going on?
DAILY GRACE: Yeah, it, it, it's sort of, yeah.
It's like having a beautiful moment.
BELLA THORNE: It's like oh!
I started thinking.
DAILY GRACE: Yeah, it's a beautiful moment in time.
BELLA THORNE: For me, that doesn't come often.
DAILY GRACE: Awww.
Please.
Oh please.
BELLA THORNE: CeCe moments.
DAILY GRACE: CeCe moments.
Oh, it's such a great name.
Uh, well, that's it for the show today guys.
Thank you, tiny Bella, for being here and sharing this,
this magic with me.
You guys learned so much about her.
You should--
you should feel privileged.
BELLA THORNE: Hot sauce.
DAILY GRACE: Hot sauce.
BELLA THORNE: That's the way to go.
DAILY GRACE: Love you guys.
She would be a hot sauce.
Now when and where can they watch you on television if
they're dumb and they don't know?
BELLA THORNE: Well, I assume they are not dumb.
DAILY GRACE: OK.
That's nice of you.
BELLA THORNE: You guys can tune in to Shake It
Up Sundays at 8:30.
But also don't forget to catch our special episode--

It's going to be amazing.
DAILY GRACE: That sounds awesome.

BELLA THORNE: Well, of course I am.
DAILY GRACE: Oh, she's got it all.
My Twitter is, uh, BellaThorne.

And then my Tumblr is BellaThorneakaCeCeJones,
because Bella Thorne was taken.
DAILY GRACE: [GASP]
How--

BELLA THORNE: So it's super long.
DAILY GRACE: Find that girl and *** her.
Don't.
Just kidding.
