Hey this is Phil Coonrod on behalf of Expert Village. Today we're going to talk about Madden
'08. Okay, a few basic philosophies I have about the fantasy draft are definitely that
you are going to want to have a clear idea or a clear picture of what your team is going
to be. Now for me personally, a lot of it is dictated on who I get in the first round,
because you never really know what selection you're going to get. So, if you're kind of
in the later picks in the round, you're probably not going to be able to get your marquis quarterbacks,
like a Peyton Manning or a Tom Brady or a Carson Palmer. You're big running backs are
probably going to be gone, LT is going to be gone and probably a couple corners are
going to be gone. But what I would try to do if you're in the later rounds, is get a
big defensive tackle or a corner. Basically, what I'd do if I can't get a franchise quarterback,
or an LT type player, a guy at a position who, you know, there's a lot of talent but
there's maybe one or two guys that are just game breakers that you can really build a
team around that are young. I might go for something like that. So just have a clear
idea of which direction you want to take it, a lot of it's going to depend on what happens
with my first round selection. So just have a clear vision of what you're going to do
and good luck.
