Welcome to Revelation Unraveled, I'm your host, William Tapley,
also known as the Third Eagle of the Apocalypse and the Co-Prophet
of the End Times. This is part 6 in my series
on the possibility of
end times Bible Prophecy being fulfilled
in this new year of 2014,
and I thought I would talk about
those who are left behind because I am a
practicing Roman Catholic, and as I have said all along,
those who will be raptured are mostly Protestants
whereas there are three other groups who will be left behind:
the protected Catholics, the holy martyrs and the converted Jews.
And there will be a new movie coming out this June
in the Left Behind series by Jerry Jenkins and Tim LaHaye,
and there are quite a few
discrepancies in that series that I would like to talk about.
First of all, there are some very humorous errors
for example, if you see those
movies, the people who are raptured leave their clothes behind,
which, I suppose, has a dramatic effect, but it really is rather comical.
It's as if what they are saying is that
if you are in heaven, you don't have any clothes, and
I don't see anywhere in scripture where people are naked.
For example, Saint Paul
went to heaven, and nowhere does it say in the Bible that
he left his clothes behind.
Another somewhat
humorous and serious event in the
Left Behind movie series is that there are bus accidents
and car accidents
because the drivers are suddenly raptured,
and I really don't think our Lord is going to have the Rapture
cause other people to die. If you look at
Jesus' parable of the five wise and the five foolish virgins,
they are actually given a few minutes to prepare.
First, the cry comes, "the bridegroom is coming,"
and then they wake up and they have time to
trim their lamps, they have time to engage in conversation with the five
foolish virgins,
they tell them to go and buy oil and
while they are gone, then the bridegroom comes and takes them
into the marriage supper of the Lamb. But, if you listen to the
what Left Behind series you would think that there is no time, that
rapture is instantaneous, and I believe that
if you are driving a car or driving a bus
and the Rapture occurs, the Lord is going to give you time to get out to save
the rest of those passengers. Now I suspect that
Jenkins and LaHaye suggest in their series
that only unworthy people will be left behind
because they listen to the false prophets who say that the Church,
entire Church, will be raptured and
they base their assumption on the fact that the word "church"
is not found in the Book of Revelation after
Chapter number 5, but the reason that occurs is because
John is writing a different type of scripture
in chapters 6 through 21, and that is
apocalyptic literature. Actually, there are many members of the church who are
left behind
and John describes them. Let's look at Chapter
12 verse number 11: "And they,"
now these are left behind, "overcame him,"
that would be Satan, "by the blood of the Lamb,
and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives
unto death." So, if they overcome Satan
with the blood of the Lamb, that means that these are faithful Christians,
but please note they were not raptured,
they have a different mission, and now
chapter 12 verse number 17: "And the dragon was
angry with the woman and went to make war with the rest of her seed,"
now these also must be left behind,
"which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony
of Jesus Christ." So obviously,
if they have the testimony of Jesus Christ,
they would have been worthy to be raptured but they are left behind to do
battle with the Dragon.
And now, Chapter 13 verse number 7:
"And it was given unto him," now this is the Antichrist,
"to make war with the saints," so now we find that these
saints are left behind, "and to
overcome them." Now when
the Antichrist overcomes the saints, this is only a temporary victory
because he rules the planet for forty- two months
because in the end, the saints and all of the armies
which follow Jesus at the Battle of Armageddon,
they will defeat the Antichrist and Satan
and all of their followers and cast them all
into the lake of fire. And since the rapture
and its accompanying nuclear war could occur
anytime in the next few days, few weeks, few months,
very possibly later this year, how many
raptured Protestants will there be and how many
people left behind, and John covers this matter
in his book of Revelation. Let's look first at the
raptured Protestants in Chapter 14 verse number 3:
"And they sung as it were a new song
before the throne, and before the four living creatures,
and the elders: and no man could learn that song
but the 144,000
which were redeemed from earth."
Now the word "redeemed" for John
means the raptured. And let's look at
Chapter 7 verse number 4 and see how many
converted Jews will be left behind,
"And I heard the number of them which were sealed:
and there were sealed: 144,000
of all the tribes of the children of Israel."
And now let's look at another group which is left behind,
although they will eventually go to heaven, and that is the holy martyrs.
In Chapter 14 verse number 1, "And I saw and behold
a Lamb standing on mount Zion," of course this is Jesus returning
for the battle of Armageddon,
"and with him 144,000
having his name and the name of his Father
written on their foreheads."
Now of course we should understand that the number
144,000 is a
symbolic number but I really believe
that it will not be significantly more or less
than that figure which John has given us.
Now, what's very interesting is that Saint John does not
enumerate the number of protected Catholics who will be left behind,
and I think there's a very important reason for that;
it is only after the Antichrist comes to power
that people will understand that the only choice they have
is to either take the mark of the beast or
to pray Mary's rosary,
because that is the weapon Jesus has determined
he will use to defeat the Antichrist,
and that is exactly why David prefigured
our Lord defeating the Antichrist by choosing five smooth pebbles
against his arch enemy, Goliath.
So, in conclusion, please do not rely on
novels or movies for your information about the rapture
and those left behind.
You need to read and understand scripture,
and as Jesus said, you need to read and understand Daniel
and in order to do that, you need to go to my new

because the prophecies of Daniel as they are printed in your bibles
are sealed up, you cannot understand them.
