My name is Juan Manuel Sumonte, but people call me El Abuelo (Grandpa)
I am a football coach living in La Dolorita
and my school is called Colo Colo Football Club.
I was training normaly kids, in a place called La Dolorita.
It'a suburban area, with poor people
The idea is that kids enjoy sports while their free time
There was no playgrounds for the kids to do sports
So I guess that's one of the difficulties faced by the kids in the area that do other things that are no good
that's because they don't know where to have fun there's no movie theater, there's nothing...
My name is Elvis Arrieda.
I play in the team Colo-Colo since 7 years.
I got new experiences with El Abuelo, he taught me to be responsible to fight every day
to become someone in life, and now, I really think differently than what I used to think like
Now, I think of a university degree and accomplish all the dreams I have set up for myself
Today, something very special happened in La Dolorita.
We stopped our football training session,
and we saw the FIFA World Cup Trophy.
To me, what just happened is like a recognition of the social work I am doing with these kids from La Dolorita
it's gonna change a lot of things for us
That's going to motivate the kids to stay away from crime
you know... our area has got a very bad image
the event that just happened represents a change, it's gonna get together all the families
It's union, it's inticing people to look for a good development of the people.
