Greetings Wargamers & Players, Welcome to MiniatureWar, I'm Meinkopt and in this painting guide we shall see how to give color in a quick and easy way to the Space Marine Primaris with the scheme of the Caliban Disciples, that are going to serve how to give black tones and the green of the Dark Angels.
The first thing that we're going to see the green tones, for this we're going to use for the layer base Caliban Green and then onces dried, we shall give a coat of the Nuln Oil Shade.
Now we proceed to give a little of light, for this we used a base blend and very well diluted paint, we shall give very thin layers in a way that the major concentration of paint will stay in the side where we want to have more light.
In this way we create the focal effect of light.
Now we proceed to mark the edges of the differents parts of the armor, first we give some brushstrokes to all the edges with a blend of Caliban Green and Warpostone Glow.
Then and covering only half, we apply with pure Warpstone Glow.
And lastly, in this part that it's more luminous we apply a blend of Warpstone Glow with Moot Green.
For the black parts, we used Abaddon Black for the layer base and then add a wash with Agrax Earthshade.
Now we add a little of Celestra Grey to the Abaddon Black and with very diluted paint, we do the same thing with the green, we're going to displace the paint so the major concentration stay where we want in the more luminous zone.
Lastly, we mark the edges, first with a blend of equal parts of Abaddon Black and Celestra Grey. Then we're going to get up the color adding more Celestra Grey until the effect of bordered stays more bright in the more luminous zones.
For the belt and the cartridge belt, we use Rinox Hide for the layer base, and then we apply a wash with Agrax Earthshade to add depth.
For the light, we mix Rinox Hide and Mourfang Brown in equal parts, and lastly, for the edges, we give pure Mourfang Brown.
For the metals we're going to use a blend of Abaddon Black and Leadbelcher for the layer base.
Then we give a wash with Nuln Oil.
To illuminate the metals and create a used effect, first we give soft brushstrokes with Ironbreaker and the a wash with Agrax Earthshade.
Lastly we give more strokes with Ironbreaker Armor.
If we wish to define even more the metal edges, then we can profile with Runefang Steel.
For the skin, we start with a layer base of Doombull Brown blended with Cadian Flestone in equal parts.
Then we start creating the edges little by little, adding more Cadian Flesh Stone to the base blend.
To create the final points of light, we can add a little of Ushabti Bone to the mix.
To find out how to paint the eyes of the miniature or the profile you can watch our video serie “Iniciándose en el Hobby”.
And with this few steps, we can quickly paint the Primaris that use a green Dark Angel and blacks. Hope that you liked our new painting guide, give it a like if you do, suscribe if you're not so you can stay up to date with our news. Thank you very much for watching and till next time.
