Okay, next let's add our almond butter. Now I want to give you another warning when
you open up the jars, it may seem kind of runny on top. When you get an almond butter
it tends to settle a little more than just your typical run of the mill peanut butter
that you see on your grocery shelf. There are a couple of reasons for that I won't get
into. All the reasons why it settles more, it's healthier. It's made in a less processed
way and so there aren't as many things to kind of hold it together like that. It's
not a big deal, you'll see I'm just stirring it just to kind of get it into a better consistency.
So when you open up your jar of almond butter my gosh you can really smell the almonds.
Just dig down deep and really stir everything up just really well so you'll just get the
right consistency and also make sure just everything in there, the oils with the almond
butter and everything are mixed really well. So just stir this up really really well.
Just get, try to get all the way down to the bottom, there we go. And you can see that's
a little bit thicker in there. Oh that's good. See how it's getting to a much better
consistency? That's good. And we're going to use a fourth of a cup of this. There
we go, alright. I'm just going to measure it out in my cup here. I have a whole lot
on my spoon so I want to use that. I can hear my water boiling over there. Okay.
Well that's good, right at a fourth of a cup. Oh and it's barely even sticking to the inside
of my cup. I love that. I hate when I have peanut butter or almond butter all stuck
to the inside of my measuring cups. Alright so we have our cup of coconut oil and our
fourth of a cup of almond butter in here. Don't you feel healthy already? Okay and
then we're going to add just a couple more things in and it'll be ready to put it on
the stove.
