The Internet is good for a lot of things — especially those DIY tutorials, but when it comes to
treating a bullet wound it's probably best to leave that to professionals.
KHOU reports a Houston mother could be facing charges for allegedly seeking medical help
from WebMD after her 14-year-old son was shot by a friend.
Texas Cable News reports a surveillance video from inside the home caught the shooting on
tape.
"That friend accused of shooting the boy, is 24-year-old Pete Jesse Rodriguez ... Surveillance
video show rodriguez pointing a gun at the teen, tracking his every movement, then pulling
the trigger."

for several minutes before getting up. (via WFAA)
The teen and his mother reportedly looked up gunshots on WebMD.com, then, seven hours
later, he went to the hospital. It was reported Wednesday that he was in stable condition.
Detectives arrested Rodriguez — who is being held on several bonds totaling $151,000. Investigators
are also reportedly considering felony charges against the mother.
