Hi, this is Mike Lopez with Expert Village and today we're going to discuss and show
you the white color from Magic: the Gathering. And now we're going to discuss Knight of Meadowgrain.
Here we have another creature, it's a Kithkin Knight. Once again, Kithkin is basically white
Merfolk relative. Knight, holiness, all about the white deck. Once again, you have a plains
and another plains, two plains. He's a 2/2, dead even on Mana cost. However, here we have,
he has First Strike which means he deals combat damage first. If the opponent who blocked
does not survive that combat damage then it does not deal combat damage to Knight of Meadowgrain.
Also, this card comes with another free ability: Lifelink. Means that this creature, whenever
it deals combat damage you gain that much life. So, not only does he have First Strike,
damage dealt Lifelink you get two damage, two of that damage turn into your life. It's
like life-sucking. That damage doesn't matter if it's done to a creature or a player. Also,
if you boost his attack up to make him a 5/2, then he does five damage. Even if he dies
you still get that life. You get as much life as he has attack power. Period. He does that
damage, you get that life. Powerful card. Uncommon, out of the Lorwyn set.
