Hello and welcome!
Today I'm going to demonstrate how to document a piece of performance artwork using just a donut and a camera. So first of all I have my donut here.
This one is sugar coated...
...it doesn't need to be sugar coated...
...and I have the camera...
...all set up and ready to take in the performance.
Now when I look back at the footage that I make, I will edit it;
cut it so only the performance will be taking place rather than all this speech bit before hand.
And then I will just leave in the parts...
...that are the serious work of art.
And when I do this piece of art I'm going to...
...have a very serious face. Now depending on the piece of performance art, You might have a different expression on your face. You might have a different way of performing it.
You might not even use people.
But for this particular one...
...I'm going to use this donut here.
And all I'm going to do is eat it. And by the end of the video you will have discovered how to document a piece of performance art. So I'm going to start now.
Now the performance is over. Notice how I just had that...
...moment of silence...
...just after it finished...
...to show the audience or the viewer that the work is in fact over. So that is how you document a performance...
...using just a donut and a camera.
