Hi there! In this situation I am going to show you how to take great pictures of kids
if you don't have any studio lighting available to you or you may not have some reflectors
available to you. You can just use the window that is coming through the window or a doorway
and the light that is coming through it. So I got Ricky standing here and as you can see
if I were to take a picture of him from behind him, he would be pretty back lit and his body
would be a shadow. So, I have a choice of either coming on the side and getting a really
nice side view of him and maybe catching him in his own moment looking out the window.
Or, if it a nice day and you can open the door, you would have the child stay inside
the door and maybe have them look up over your shoulder or whatever, but the light that
is coming in is really nice and small and fills in all his features. So, he looks fantastic
and you get a wonderful portrait.
