Hello.
Hi. I am Eric Berger from Willow Garage.
For the last 20 years, the JSK lab at Tokyo University
has been doing innovative robotics work
on a variety of platforms,
so we were very excited to see
what they would be able do with a PR2.
Recently, Dr.Inaba, Dr.Kei Okada, and four of their graduate students
came out to Willow Garage to use the system for a week.
And integrate their software stack, called Euslisp
that's been developed over the last 20 years,
with the capabilities we've been providing in ROS.
They used a lot of our capabilities, the motor control,
the navigation stack, and the person detection
in order to implement demos
to make the robot work as a tour guide,
shake hands with people,
and play some traditional Japanese games.
Hello. How are you?
Hi. What's Up?
